LATE SUMMER WEEKEND RETREAT IN EASTERN ONTARIO

Yoga, Movement and Meditation Retreat w/ Scott Davis & special guest Jeff Warren

September 13-15, 2024

You are invited to join us for a luxurious late summer weekend retreat on Loughborough Lake in Eastern Ontario. We will explore mind and body, community and nature – how each plays a vital role in nourishing and sustaining us. We'll meditate, move, play, eat delicious food, take forest walks, lake swims, saunas, sit around the campfire, and take space for creative exploration and quiet reflection. The practice sessions will meet you where you’re at, with balanced yoga and movement, breath work and qigong, as well as accessible meditation explorations. All to support full body-mind-world recalibration! Our special guest, Scott's good pal Jeff Warren, will guide a daily meditation, hang out around our campfire, and probably spend a lot of time jumping in and out of the lake.

Our venue, the stunning Bloom Retreat, is located on over 650 acres of Canadian shield just 20 minutes north of Kingston on . The building is newly designed and constructed with floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive lakefront views from almost every room, miles of lakefront on a very low-occupancy lake, acres of forest with hiking trails, lookout points, a fire pit, a wood fired sauna and an outdoor dining area with pizza oven. It is an oasis like you've never seen in Ontario just over 2 hours drive from Toronto.

YOUR GUIDES

Scott Davis has been sharing his passion for health as a yoga teacher, movement therapist, acupuncturist, practitioner of Eastern Medicine, and health educator for the past two decades. He integrates therapeutic traditions, contemporary approaches to health and the latest research in biomechanics and human movement in ways that are clear, accessible, fun and results-based with a balance of authenticity, humour and depth. His love of yoga started in his teens with a decade of ashtanga vinyasa yoga, while over the years growing his teaching with the alignment and precision of Iyengar yoga, the balancing of qigong and breathwork, the restful qualities of restorative and yin yoga, and more recently mobility work and functional movement to create a more comprehensive practice of movement aligned with the core principles of a well-rounded yoga practice..

When Scott is not teaching or treating patients in his clinic, he loves practicing movement of all kinds, playing in nature and spending time with his family.
