This course is offered live through Zoom and the recordings will be available afterwards if you are unable to attend the live session.

Our hips, knees and feet are foundational to how we move in yoga practice and in life. In this workshop we will explore and discuss key functional anatomy of the lower limb, how to optimize alignment while allowing for diversity in movement, how to balance hip mobility and stability and relevant assessment to increase your effectiveness with your students and in your own practice.

Learning goals:

-Learn and integrate functional anatomy of the lower limb

-Learn and apply structural assessment and interview based assessment of the lower limb

-Understand common conditions of the hip and knee

-Apply functional movement of the lower limb to design a well balanced class

-Authentic teaching from integrated learning

This workshop counts as 10 HR Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits.
