4 Week Art of Breathwork Series
Thursdays 6-7pm PT
May 23, May 30, June 6 and June 13 at Ma Yoga Victoria
The average human takes 26000 breaths per day. While the majority of these breaths are unconscious, when we work more deliberately with the breath, we discover a powerful tool to shift our state, creating a deeper relationship with our own body and the affect of the outside world on our nervous system. It’s truly a super power!
In this 4 week series on breathwork we will explore several different breathing techniques through evidence based theory and practice, empowering you to find the most impactful practices for you. We will learn ways to expand the chambers of the lungs, increase our breath capacity, and use breathing as a means to calm the nervous system for deeper rest and relaxation. This course will be full of evidence based theory and techniques you can start using right away with amazing results.
What you'll learn:
the anatomy and physiology of breathing
