1 to 5 PM ET
This course is offered live through Zoom and the recordings will be available afterwards if you are unable to attend the live session.
The second part is about unpacking the art and skill of safely hold space for others. Caring for others is not only a way of giving back, but it's also a form of self-care. In this part of the training we will learn teaching technique for the set up and sequencing of well balanced therapeutic classes that you can share with any level of practitioner to support their health and healing. Deepen your experience of Art of Rest in your own practice and learn to design your own practice, facilitate small groups and one on one teaching.
From former Art of Rest participants:
I got more out of this 40 hour training than I have out of 100 hour trainings. Scott's expertise in both TCM and restorative is impressive and he's able to integrate and break it down so it's easy to understand and apply. LOVED every minute. - A.D.
This was a fantastic training which I would highly recommend to any Yoga Teacher or practitioner looking to go deeper into their practise. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and creates a supportive, engaging and fun environment to discover more about restorative yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have been incorporating the teachings into my practises and have already seen a big difference! - T.H.
The Art of Rest was a much-needed experience. Whether you are a yoga teacher or not, the skills you learn in this course are invaluable to everyday life! I never fully rested until I rested in this course. It has opened me up to new ways of thinking about how I care for myself. - S.R.
This was a brilliant course full of so much interesting information. I feel like I've learned more about rest for myself as well as how to help my students. The practical element to the course really enhanced the experience and I loved the opportunity to learn from Scott as well as all the other brilliant people on the course! Thank you. - H.M.
