The Santillian retreat centre is nestled in the countryside above the Costa del Sol, framed by quiet mountains overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the famous pueblos blancos, the nearby beaches or the Moorish architecture of surrounding towns. Relax by the salt water pool, indulge in the spa, explore the gardens, hike the mountain trails or simply soak up the quiet charm of this rural retreat. All accommodations have ensuites and their own private balcony or terrace.
Cuisine is farm-to-table, with three delicious meals each day sourced from local organic farms, served buffet style. The centre has its own herb garden and chicken coop, so fresh eggs are available daily.
The award-winning yoga studio is equipped with rope walls, extensive props and peaceful views of the Andalusian countryside.
Our intention is to nourish your body and mind with a unique, interconnected blend of movement and insight meditation practices that are both deeply grounding and expansive. Daily practice sessions are a balanced offering of Hatha Yoga, Functional Movement Essentials, Restorative Yoga and Rope Wall classes.

Who We Are
Scott and Christine, movement and mindfulness teachers based in Toronto, Canada, bring more than 30 years of shared experience teaching yoga, functional movement, yoga philosophy, pranayama (breath work), martial arts, psychotherapy and meditation. This holistic retreat reflects years of questioning and research into what practices are most beneficial and sustainable over the long term and how our practices best cultivate our humanity and dignity in changing times. As an acupuncturist, Scott uses his knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the subtle body to optimize the therapeutic benefit of how we move and breathe. By sparking the vast intelligence of the body and the magic of Andalusia, Scott and Christine anticipate an unforgettable week of simple pleasures, self-growth and connection.
Scott Davis has been sharing his passion for health as a practitioner of Integrative Medicine, movement therapist, yoga teacher and health educator for the past two decades. He integrates therapeutic traditions, contemporary approaches to health and the latest research in biomechanics and human movement in ways that are clear, accessible and results-based.
Scott brings a balance of authenticity, humour and depth to his clinical practice, where he treats his patients with a holistic approach centred on Eastern Medicine and the three pillars of health: Movement, Nutrition and Rest. As an educator, Scott has trained hundreds of yoga teachers and movement instructors and is on a lifelong path of learning and discovery to continue to help people feel better in their lives.
Christine is a Toronto-based yoga and mindfulness teacher who uses both traditional and hybrid forms of practice to inspire students to find joy and ease in their lives. Her teaching style is compassionate, inclusive and informative and reflects her belief that yoga is a lifelong tool for staying connected to our bodies, mind and spirit. She uses her background in martial arts, psychotherapy, Buddhism and 20 years of studying and teaching yoga to offer her students a practical and wondrous approach to practice. A mother of three, she uses parenting as an arena of awareness and growth. She also has a Masters in Environmental Studies and believes in the resonance between the natural world and our own nervous system is instrumental to finding and sustaining balance in our lives.
